City of Turku

Turku is a city in southwest coast of Finland, and it has a population of about 194000 people. It is the old Capital City of Finland until Helsinki took its place as a Capital in the early 19th century. Nowadays it is the 6th largest city in Finland. Turku is also known as the oldest city of Finland as the year 1229 is used as the official foundation year of the city. Turku is well known from its cultural events, traditions, famous sightseeing’s and buildings, and food and food culture. Turku is also a very good city for students and has Universities and has many activities for the students and generally is a very student friendly city.
