The European Sales Competition Association (ESCA) was founded on 2015 – one year after the first European Sales Competition was held in Belgium. ESCA was established to ensure the continuum and success of European Sales Competition. ESCA selects the organizer of the coming European Sales Competition during the fall based on application submitted to the board chairman by the end of October.
The European Sales Competition Association is governed by the board. ESCA board consists of Chairman, Vice Chairman and 4 to 8. Board members. The board of the ESCA consists of chairman Timo Holopainen from Turku University of Applied Sciences, Finland, Past Chairman Liisa Kairisto-Mertanen from Turku University of Applied Sciences, Finland, Vice-Chairman Tony Douglas, and board members Tuula Korhonen from Haaga-Helia University of Applied science, Finland , Karl Pinczolits from University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, Austria and past ESC competition Director Bernard Hasson from Euridis, France and Mickel Dielissen, Avans University of Applied Science, Netherlands and Johannes Reitener from University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
The European Sales Competition was founded to strengthen the studies of sales across Europe by bringing the art of sales to be more visible to the public, sharing the best teaching practices and by benchmarking the best universities across Europe.
